# How do I activate QR codes for plans?

| Note: You need the Project-Administrator role to activate the QR-Codes for plans.

To activate the QR-Codes for the plans, click on **Project Settings** (1.) in the menu then scroll down to the "File Storage Settings" section and select the **Edit** button (2.) next to "Plan Review QR Code".

In the window that opens, you can then **enable** the QR-Code for plans (1.) and use the two "**Distance settings**" (2.) and (3.) to position the QR-Code on the plan. You can also **define the position of the QR code** (4.). Then click **Save** (5.) to apply the settings.
