# How do I add a signature to an inspection (app)?

|| Information: The inspection must already have been published so that signatures can be added.

Navigate to the desired inspection and click on the **+ Signature** (1.) button. Define a location (area highlighted in yellow) and then click on the **+ Sign** button.

A new window will open. Sign in the field provided. If necessary, you can also reset the signature again by clicking on the **Restore** symbol (1.). Save your signature by clicking on the **checkmark button** (2.).

You will now see the added signature . Click on the **Add** button to save the signature. You will return to the overview of participants. Here you will now see the status "Signed" as well as the date and the exact time at which the signature was created.
