# How do I archive a project?

| Note: You must be in the project that you want to archive. You must have the Project Admin right to archive a project. => [What can project admins do?](https://help.smino.com/en/article/what-can-project-admins-do-1glvoqo/)

Click on **Project Settings** (1.) and then in the area "Archiving" on the **Arrow** (2.). Now click **Archive Project** to proceed with archiving.

| Note: Archived projects remain visible for all project participants under "Archived projects", access remains. An archived project can be restored at any time. For security reasons you will be asked if you really want to archive the project. Confirm the action by clicking the **Archive Project** button.

The project has now been archived and is marked as archived accordingly (yellow bar).

You and all project participants will now find the archived project under Projects. Click on **Your name** (1.) and then on **Projects** (2.).

After that, click on the **arrow** in the "Archived Projects" area.
