# How do I complete a registration with invitation link?

When you are invited to a project on smino by a project participant, you will receive a link via email. You can use this link to activate your account.

To do so, click on the **Accept invitation** button in the email. You will then be redirected to the registration page (see below):

Create your own password (area highlighted in yellow) and accept the **Terms and Conditions** as well as the **Privacy Policy** (1.).  You also have the option to sign up for our newsletter. To do so, select the **checkbox** (2.). Finally, click on the **Accept invitation** button (3.). You will then be redirected to the overview page of your projects.
