# How do I create a new session series?

| Note: The various session types are predefined and cannot be modified or expanded.

Click on ${color}[#000000](**Logs**) (1.) and select a **session series type** (2.).

Click on the button **+ New Session Series**.

Fill in at least the mandatory information (areas highlighted in yellow). Optionally, select the **Export Templates** (1.). Click on the **Continue** button (2.).

Decide whether you want to grant permissions to **individual persons** (1.), **entire organizations** (2.), or **entire roles** (3.). Assign read and/or write rights to the respective persons, organizations and roles by clicking the corresponding **checkboxes** (4.). If needed, you can search for or filter by persons, organizations, roles, and rights (areas highlighted in yellow). Then click the **Continue** button (5.).

Check your entries and create the session series by clicking on the **Save** button.
