# How do I create a new task (app)?

To create a new task, first click on the ${color}[#000000](**"+"**) button (1.). The menu opens where you can then select the item **Task** (2.).

Fill in at least the mandatory fields (fields marked yellow). You can also enter a deficiency in the same way. To do this, change the **Type** (1.) to Deficiency. Optionally, add the information "Location", "Distributor", "Description" and "Add marker" by clicking on the corresponding **field** (2.). 

With a click on the **Camera** button (3.), you can take pictures directly with your mobile phone and add them to the task. If you select **+ Media Library** (4.), you can add already existing pictures from your gallery. Once you have completed everything, click on the **Continue** button (5.).

You now have the option of saving the task as a **draft**, **assign** it directly or **cancel** the action.
