# How do I create a task directly from a plan?

Navigate to the desired plan and click on the position in the plan where you want to create a task. A marker will appear. Click on the ${color}[#000000](**checkmark**).

A window will now open where you can enter the task. Be sure to fill in at least all the required fields (areas marked in yellow) and add various attachments if required. After that you can either save the task as **Draft** (1.) or directly **Save and Assign** (2.).
