# How do I define the blocking periods in the schedule?

There are two ways to define or adjust the blocking times. Click on the corresponding **schedule** (1.) or on the **three dots** to the right of the corresponding schedule (2.) and then on ${color}[#000000](**Lockout Hours**) (3.).

In the second option, click on the **three dots** (1.) in the top right-hand corner of the open schedule and then select **Lockout Hours** (2.).
