# How do I delete an element?


| Note: You need write permissions to edit a schedule.

Open the desired schedule and then click the **Edit** button.

Select the item you want to delete by **clicking** on it (1.), then click the **trash can button** to delete the item (2.).

A new window will open. As a safety measure, a warning message will appear, and you’ll need to confirm the deletion of the element once more. To do so, click **Delete Item**.

||| Warning: This action cannot be undone. If the element contains sublevels, they will also be deleted.
