# How do I delete an organization from the project?

| Note: To remove an organization from the project, you must have the "Project Admin" right. => [What can project admins do?](https://help.smino.com/en/article/what-can-project-admins-do-1glvoqo/)

Click on **Contacts** (1.) and then on the **Edit** button (2.) for the organization you want to remove.

A new window opens. Click on the **Delete** button.

A note appears describing what exactly will happen if you delete the organization. Confirm the deletion by clicking on the **Yes** button.

The organization has now been deleted from the project. You will find the removed organization(s) in the contact overview at the bottom, in the section "Contacts removed from the project".
