# How do I edit the contact details of my contacts?

| Note: To be able to edit contact data, you must be a project admin. => [What can project admins do?](https://help.smino.com/en/article/what-can-project-admins-do-1glvoqo/)

Click on ${color}[#000000](**Contacts**) (1.) and then on the **Edit** button (2.) at the organisation concerned.

A new window will open. Click on the **Edit** button of the person you want to edit.

Now you can adjust the "Function within the project" and the "Abbreviation (e.g. protocol)" (areas highlighted in yellow). Then click on the **Save** button.
