# How do I remove an employee from my organization?

Click on your **name** (1.) and then on **organization** (2.).

Click on the button **Manage Employees**.

A new window opens. You will see all the staff members of your organization. Delete the desired person from your organization by clicking on the **Remove** button.

Once you have clicked on the "Remove" button for a staff member(s), a box will appear with various instructions on what exactly will happen by deleting the staff member(s). Confirm the action by clicking the **Remove** button again.

After you have clicked the "Remove" button the second time, a final warning appears that this action cannot be undone. Confirm the action again by clicking the **Remove** button.

| Notes: The removed person will receive an email as well as a notification in smino that they have been removed from the organization. The removed person is set to inactive in all projects and no longer has access to the organization and to the projects. All licences that the removed person possessed are released again (either to their own organization or to the organization that assigned the licence(s) to the person).
