# How do I remove external project participants from the project?

First click on **Contacts** (1.) and then select the **Edit** button (2.) for the organization concerned.

A new window will open in which you can remove the desired person by clicking on the **X** button.

For safety's sake, a message appears asking if you really want to remove the person from the project. Confirm this by clicking **Remove**.

| Note: All persons with the "project admin" right can see the deleted contacts. All other persons do not.
