# How do I start a conversation?

To start a new conversation, click on ${color}[#000000](**Conversations**) (1.) and then on the **+ New Conversation** button (2.).

A new window opens. Give the conversation a title and define the participants of the conversation (areas highlighted in yellow). Then click the **Save** button.

As soon as you have saved the conversation, you will be taken to the detailed view of the conversation you just created.   

|| Information: The conversation is currently still in "draft" status. 

Click the **+ New Message** button to write your first message.

Write your message. You can save the message as a **draft** (1.) or **send it right away** (2.). When you click **Send**, the conversation opens right away.

For security, you must confirm that you really want to send the message. Click on the **Send message** button again.
