# How do I start a conversation about a task?

If you want to reply to a task you created or received, you can start a conversation about the task.

1. Option: Make a double-click on a task to open the task's detail page and scroll down to the “Conversation” section. Click the **+ New Conversation** button.

2. Option: When you click once on the **task** (1.), a side panel opens. Here, you can click **Conversation** (2.) and then on **+ New Conversation** (3.).

A new window opens in which you can add further participants if necessary (area highlighted in yellow). Then click on the button **Save**.

The conversation has now been opened. Next you can click on the **+ New Message** button.

Now you can write your message (area highlighted in yellow), **add attachments** (1.) if necessary and then click on the button **Send** (2.).

To confirm, you will be asked whether you really want to send the message. Confirm by clicking on the **Send message** button.
