# How do I use the QR code?

You have the option of exporting the files that are stored on smino, including a QR code. This can be activated by the respective project admin: => [How do I activate QR codes for plans?](https://help.smino.com/en/article/how-do-i-activate-qr-codes-for-plans-y1f63u/)

To export a plan including a QR code, click on the **Files** menu (1.) and open the respective plan. If you now scroll down, you can click on the **three dots** (2.) under "Versions" and then on **Download with QR code** (3.).

You also have the option to specify when placing a print order whether you want the plan with or without a QR code => [How do I create a print job?](https://help.smino.com/en/article/how-do-i-create-a-print-job-jiy6vq/)

You can check on-site whether the plan is up to date: Scan the QR code with your mobile and follow the link. If the version is not up to date, you can view the latest version by clicking the **View Latest Version** (1.) button or **contact the owner** (2.) directly.

If the plan is up to date, you will receive the corresponding notification here.
