# How does the weekly view for tasks work?

To view the weekly view, click **Tasks** in the menu (1.), and then click the icon with the columns for the **weekly view** in the filter overview (2.).

You can also drag and drop the task directly into the corresponding week. When you do this, the task's due date is always changed to the Friday of that week.

You can still change the status simply by clicking on the status icon.
