# How is a log structured?

1. **Log title and status** 

The current status of the log is displayed at the top (area highlighted in yellow).

|| Information: If a log is in draft status, it can only be viewed by those persons who have write permission. 

The status changes if one of the options **Approve for review** (1.) or **Publish** (2.) is selected when editing the log. Selecting the **Delete** button (3.) deletes a draft log.

You can define and edit the **Details** (4.) when creating. In the **Distributor** (5.) - subdivided into "Participants", "Excused" and "Others", the persons listed here are automatically informed about changes.

2. **Contents of the minutes** - Items on the minutes and items on the agenda/tracts

The log items and agenda items/tracts are listed here, which can each contain up to four levels. The main item (e.g. 1, 2, 3...) is only a title. 

|| If a text, information, task or decision has been inserted at a level (e.g. 1.1., 1.2, 2.1 etc.), __no__ further levels can be created below it, even if the last level has not yet been reached. More links on this topic can be found at the end of the article.
