# Release Notes October 2026

We are happy to inform you about our latest updates:

### ${color}[#ff8000](New Features)

###### Templates:

* All project members can now use the project’s workflow templates.

###### Files:

* If the QR code option is enabled in the project, plans now include the QR code with every download. Previously, it was missing when you downloaded an entire folder or multiple plans.
* When downloading an entire folder or multiple plans, the QR code was missing from the plans, even if the QR code option was enabled for the project. When downloading individual plans, the QR code was generated correctly. The QR code is now handled the same way for all plan downloads.
* When exporting plan markings, the plan overview is now displayed as large as possible.

###### Project:

* The project overview has been redesigned.
* When you create a project from a template, its workflow templates are now also imported.
* The number of Light projects you can create now depends on your subscription. Archived Light projects no longer count toward your quota.
* Only project admins who belong to the organization can archive projects.

###### Miscellaneous:

* You can now insert tables in the text editor.
* On Smino’s birthday, Halloween, Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter, the Smino logo takes on a festive look.


### ${color}[#ff8000](Optimizations)

###### Profile and Account:

* If saving your profile fails—for example, because your internet connection is interrupted—your entries will be preserved.

###### Recycle bin:

* When you view deleted items, the Trash is highlighted in the side menu. After restoring items, the original menu item becomes active again.



### ${color}[#ff8000](Bug Fixes)

###### Tasks:

* The change history now correctly displays changes made by participants.
* The status dropdown in the task list is working again.
* In the CSV export, “Due on” and “Completed on” are now in two separate columns. Previously, the due date was always displayed in the shared column, even for completed tasks.

###### Files:

* Shared links no longer automatically display the latest file name.
* When multiple people edit a document at the same time, changes are no longer lost.

###### App:

* You can log in again on an iPad running iPadOS 27.
* The app no longer crashes during synchronization. This issue affected projects with many task participants or a very extensive change history.
* When editing tasks, duplicates are no longer created, and people are no longer removed from the distribution list.
* The task filter works reliably again.
* Archived projects are no longer displayed.
* The prompt that appears before editing approvals has been corrected.

###### Miscellaneous:

* The order of list items in naming conventions is saved correctly again.
* Translation errors in the settings for naming conventions and versioning have been fixed.
