# Using the clipboard for tasks/defects (app)

When you create a new task or deficiency, after you have filled in the information, you have the option to save this details to the clipboard. To do this, click on the button ${color}[#000000](**Clipboard**).

Then select the information you want to save to the clipboard for new tasks/deficiencies by clicking on the respective **checkboxes** (1.). You can select Type, Title, To be done by, Due date, Location, Distributor and Description. Then klick on **Save Clipboard** (2.).

Now when you create a new task/defect, it will already be filled with the previously saved clipboard contents.

|| Information: The clipboard remains saved even when the app is closed and reopened. It is project-specific, which means that each project has its own clipboard for tasks and defects.
