How do I change the log number?

Note: To change the log number, you must be the creator of the protocol or have admin rights to the session series. => Overview of the various rights

The log is still in “Draft” or “For Review” status:

Click on the desired log and overwrite the number in the Number field (area highlighted in yellow). The log number will change as soon as you enter it. You can then continue working on the log as usual and later Approve for review (1.) or Publish (2.) it.

The log has already been published:

Open the already published log, click on the three dots (1.), and then click the Edit button (2.).

For safety reasons, you will be asked if you really want to edit the log. Confirm this by clicking the Edit button again.

Now you can overwrite the log number in the number field (area highlighted in yellow) and then republish the log by clicking the Re-publish button.

Note: If you want to delete the log after changing the log number, we recommend emptying the distribution list first. Otherwise, everyone on the distribution list will be notified of the change in the log number.
