Which file formats for plans, documents and images are supported?

Plans:

Information: No multi-page PDF files are shown because we are strongly against combining plans into multi-page PDFs. In our experience, this leads to more difficult version control, among other things.

2D:

.pdf

Maximum file size: 1 GB

2D (scanned plans):

With scanned plans, we have found that there can be processing issues if the files are not compressed. However, PDF files can be optimized with third-party tools.

For example: ilovepdf.com, uncompressed: 67 MB, approx. 30min processing time (too long, breaks), compressed: 3.5 MB, approx. 3min processing time.

3D (CAD/BIM/Model files):

These files are sent to the service "Forge" for rendering (formatting). The server is located outside of Switzerland, in Europe.

Basically all formats can be uploaded here. PDF files can be displayed directly.
