Rights management and creation of the project folders
Information: Only project admins can assign rights to the "Project folder". => What can project admins do?
To create project folders, click Files (1.) and then navigate to the Plans/Models or Documents area (yellow highlighted areas). Next, click on Project storage (2.).
Variant 1: Click on the + Add button (3.) and in the menu that appears click on + Create folder (4.).
Variant 2: Click directly on the + Create folder button (5.). This variant is only available if no project folders have been created yet.

Name the new folder (yellow highlighted area) and then click the Add button.

A new window will open in which you can now determine which organizations should receive reading rights, which should receive writing rights and which should receive deleting rights. To do this, click on the respective checkbox (1., 2. and 3.). The read right, the write right and the delete right apply respectively to the folder and all its subfolders. You can search or filter by a specific organization, by roles and by rights (fields marked in yellow).
Additionally, you can determine which of the organizations should be notified about new uploads in the folder. To do this, click on the Checkbox (4.). Confirm your settings by clicking on the Set rights button (5.).
Note: Changes in permissions are propagated to subfolders when they are saved. Subfolders cannot have fewer permissions than their main folders. However, subfolders can have more rights than their main folders.
